MY STORY

Hi, my name is Pip and I run Dogs and Digs. I am only too aware of the difficulties of juggling work and dog ownership, having cared for my border Collie, Tess, for 14 years while working full time.

So when the opportunity arose, I decided to leave the company where I had worked for 20 years and set myself up as a solution for people who want a dog but have to work. I offer a friendly and reliable service to care for your dog, having them spend the day with me at my home.

 

I also offer a boarding service ranging from occasional overnight care through to the annual fortnight away. You will have peace of mind knowing your pet is still happy in a home environment with lots of fuss and company while you enjoy your own holiday. I live in a detached bungalow with a large secure garden. I am only a couple of minutes walk from a large dog-friendly park which leads onto woods, fields, the canal and several miles of the traffic-free Great Central Way. All perfect walking areas.

II am DBS checked, fully insured and have passed several pet first aid courses. I am also licensed by Blaby District Council.

 

The first step is a 'meet and greet', with a visit here if you are thinking about daycare or boarding. Ideally your dog will spend a few hours with me before coming for an overnight stay. I offer this at no charge because it is important that we are all happy that the arrangement is suitable.
